Hopper3 and LNBs installed but signal strength low on 129?

Postby BillK » Mon Feb 13, 2017 4:50 pm

Other posts here have indicated I should see signal strength in the 50s for transponders on 129, but none of mine are above 49.

In particular, 129/32 (TCM HD) fluctuates between 47 and 49, as do transponders 19, 20 and 29; I thought that might be responsible for some blockies I was seeing the other night, but they went away with the start of the next movie indicating the issue was on TCM's end.

Still, it made me paranoid so I thought I'd ask whether this was normal; the installer last Monday said my dish was tweaked and spot on.

For comparison 110/11 and 119/11 are both 61.

I'm located in the Denver metro area.

Those are perfectly acceptable and normal numbers.
